Customer Terms
These terms govern customer access, service requests, labor bids, TLT-purchased materials, and job payments through Total Leads Today.
1. Free customer access
Creating a customer account and publishing a verified competitive-bid request costs $0. No recurring customer membership is required. Labor, materials, the disclosed 20% platform markup, permits, taxes, and other job-specific charges remain separate. Existing legacy subscriptions are no longer required and may be canceled from the account page. Service Pro availability, bid count, price, savings, timing, and results are not guaranteed.
2. Requests and independent providers
You must provide accurate scope, location, access, safety, timing, and budget information. Providers are independent businesses, not TLT employees. Provider credentials and approvals are limited to the information and jurisdictions reviewed; you remain responsible for evaluating the provider and the final scope.
3. Labor-only provider bids
Provider bids on customer-posted jobs cover labor only. A provider may identify the parts or materials needed, but the provider does not purchase those materials and is not paid for them. Choosing a labor provider authorizes TLT to begin sourcing the listed materials; it does not authorize undisclosed charges or work to begin.
4. TLT materials purchasing
TLT compares retailer quotes, selects the materials retailer, and issues the purchase order. TLT settles accepted material costs with the retailer on Net 45 terms: the 45-day period begins when TLT accepts verified delivery, subject to documented return, damage, fraud, recall, or dispute holds. TLT may evaluate price, availability, specifications, compatibility information, warranty, return terms, delivery, and risk—not price alone. Materials remain subject to availability, substitutions approved through the job process, taxes, delivery limits, warranty terms, and returns.
5. Itemized job price
Before job payment, TLT will itemize the accepted provider labor bid, the accepted retailer materials amount, and a platform markup equal to 20% of those two components. In formula form: customer total before separately disclosed tax or adjustments equals 1.20 × (labor + materials). The provider receives the accepted labor amount; the retailer receives the accepted materials amount; TLT retains the platform markup, from which payment-processing costs, refunds, disputes, and operating expenses may be paid.
6. Payment and release conditions
For jobs processed through TLT, the customer pays TLT. Payment must be confirmed before TLT treats the job as funded. The retailer materials amount becomes settlement-eligible no earlier than 45 days after TLT accepts verified delivery. TLT releases the provider labor amount only after the customer confirms completion or TLT resolves a documented completion dispute. TLT does not describe these arrangements as escrow.
7. Scope changes, completion, refunds, and disputes
Material or labor changes require an updated itemization and customer approval before additional charges. Promptly inspect delivered materials and completed work, and report damage, non-delivery, incomplete work, or unauthorized changes through the job room. Refund eligibility and amount depend on the affected labor, materials, platform markup, fulfillment state, retailer return terms, and applicable law. TLT may hold or reverse unpaid or paid recipient amounts while investigating a refund, chargeback, fraud, safety issue, or dispute.
8. Legacy subscription cancellation
New customer subscriptions are no longer sold. A customer with a legacy renewable membership may submit a cancellation request from the account page. Free customer access continues after cancellation, and cancellation does not cancel an active job, remove existing bids or messages, or automatically refund job charges. Account deletion is blocked while a legacy renewable membership remains active so billing is not left attached to an inaccessible account.
9. Marketplace conduct and safety
Do not use TLT for unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, discriminatory, threatening, or abusive requests. Do not ask a provider or retailer to bypass TLT payment, licensing, permits, safety rules, or material restrictions. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, one-time codes, bank details, gift cards, wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or remote-access instructions in job chat. TLT is not emergency dispatch.
10. Privacy, changes, and contact
The Privacy Policy explains data handling. Material changes will be presented before they govern a new purchase or paid action. Submit support and data-rights requests through the secure request center.
